AutoTerminal Japan 1.Vehicle Appraisal AutoTerminal Japan’s (ATJ) inspection center is fully equipped with state of the art equipment to allow us to correctly appraise and inspect vehicles. The inspection staff has direct links to the data entry clerks so when the cars are inspected, initial vehicle information can be checked and corrected if needed. 2. Accident Damage Appraisal Most vehicles exported from Japan are purchased from auctions or lease companies and appraised to some degree of efficiency to determine if the vehicle has had previous accident history. AutoTerminal Japan (ATJ) makes sure that vehicles undergo an independent appraisal and inspection to ensure that they are free of defects or accident damage. We make sure that our customers are worry-free by providing them with all the relevant, accurate, and detailed information about the condition of their purchased vehicles. 3. Odometer Inspection The absence of distinguishable or noticeable physical marks such as dents, scratches, and scrapes does not mean that a vehicle is in excellent condition. It is possible that its odometer has been tampered with to display fraudulent mileage. This is usually done to mask high mileage on late-model used cars, a serious threat to used car buyers that can cost thousands of dollars in losses and lead to frustrating breakdowns and repairs. The vehicle must also be on the list of vehicles to be complied by a Registered Automotive Workshop (RAW). Once in Australia, a RAW will then comply the vehicle to meet Australian standards and fit it with a Used Import Plate.
